What are EMF’s?
It goes by many names: EMF’s, Electro-Smog, etc. What are EMF’s? They are “electro-magnetic fields”. Simply put, EMF’s are electrical and magnetic fields of energy that surround us every day. Some of these fields are natural and not harmful to the human body, or, we can also call them “native” EMF’s. Some examples of “native” EMF’s are sunlight, lightening, and the natural magnetic field that naturally flows from the surface of the earth (also known as the “Schumann resonance”).
There are also unnatural, or “non-native” forms of EMF’s. These include WIFI routers, cellphones and other wireless devices, electric fields from nearby cell towers and transmitters, and magnetic fields from overhead power lines, dirty-electricity (more on this later!) and even many kitchen appliances! These are natural forms of electromagnetic fields that our ancestors were never exposed to. It’s important to understand that the human body runs on electricity (ask any cardiologist). Energy fields that surround us every day and for long periods of time can sometimes have a negative impact on the natural electrical system of our bodies. As wonderful as technology and innovation is, sometimes as humans, we can easily overlook the negative side effects of being constantly exposed to nearby WIFI routers, cell phones and other nearby sources of non-native EMF’s.
These kinds of constant exposures have been shown to impact human biology in profound ways. There are numerous doctors and researchers who have demonstrated a link between many human ailments in relation to excessive exposure to EMF’s. You can read this in more details on our .
Electro-pollution has been linked to ailments like:
- Cancer
- Fatigue
- Insomnia/sleep disturbances
- Migraines
- Brain Fog
- Depression
- Anxiety
- Diminished Cognitive Function/Memory issues
- ADD/ADHD
- Visual problems and light sensitivity
- Heart palpitations
- Dermatitis
- Dizziness
- Tinnitus
As you can see, the list is extensive. Some people are more sensitive to EMF’s than others. It has been said that some 3% of the population is extremely sensitive to EMF’s, although over 1.3 of people are sensitive to EMF’s in varying degrees. The problem is that we live like zoo animals! As technology and innovation continue to evolve, our living environments are becoming more and more natural. Unfortunately, our biology doesn’t always like our technology.
